PrescriptiCare is a provider of prescription benefits management (PBM) services. Our client base primarily consists
of clients of TPAs. In concert with MedImpact, PrescriptiCare can provide your company or client with a
fee-for-service prescription program with its mail-order facility. Our programs—such as formularies, clinical
programs and rebates—are based on objective, unbiased evaluations of how industry alliances will produce optimal
financial and therapeutic benefits to our clients. In addition, PrescriptiCare offers your group a total systems
solution designed for cost savings.
For optimum flexibility, there is no limit to the number of different parameters that our system maintains. We currently support more that 1,500 benefit designs—including varying copayments and deductibles, generic incentives, benefit limitations, eligibility and maintenance drug lists.
As an added benefit, PrescriptiCare is part of a pharmacy network consisting of 59,000 retail pharmacies across the country (see our Pharmacy Locator). In addition, we provide a service to users called Med Manager, a desktop reporting program giving users ownership of their pharmacy data. For step therapy, we provide online stop-care edits in all class levels—down to NDC levels. These are just some of the many ways we are working to continually enhance our PBM services.
